Najwan Darwish
Najwan Darwish, born in Jerusalem in 1978, is
a poet, writer and journalist. He completed his academic
education in law, and he recently worked as chief editor for
“360 Degrees” - a regionally syndicated radio program
dedicated to the coverage of the arts scene, in its various
forms, in the Arab World, Turkey and Iran.
Najwan has written on Palestinian art,
including a number of catalogue introductions for different
Palestinian visual artists, and he has been published widely
in the Palestinian and Arab press.
Najwan is the author of “He Was Knocking the
Last Door” published by the Arab Institute for Research &
Publishing, Lebanon 2000, which
has been partially translated and published by some French
literary magazines. He participated in different
international cultural events; most recently the “Huitième
Biennale Internationale des Poètes en Val-de-Marne”
held in Paris during November 2005.
