Najwan Darwish

Poet and critic from Jerusalem. He is active in different media and art projects in Palestine, the Arab World and Europe. Recently, he became the Editor-in-Chief of the widely distributed Min Wa Ila Magazine, which specializes in the new creative scene in the Arab World.

This year (2008) he gave a seminal lecture for Home Works forum in Beirut “The Sexual Image of Israel in the Arab Imaginary”.  Darwish has been curating an on-going exhibition for Naji Al-Ali cartoons in Paris and Brussels for Masarat project, and co-founded Being Belgian; a writers program exploring Identity issues.
